Carr’s landing power back

BC Hydro is grappling with a major power outage at Carr’s Landing.
More than 1,800 homes had been in the dark since 6:56 p.m., covering a large area from Lake Country to south of Vernon.
According to BC Hydro, the outage is south of Old Stamp Mill Road and north of Hebbert Road.
The cause of the failure is still being investigated. A crew was assigned to the incident.
The Okanagan is currently under a special weather statement from Environment Canada with gusts of 60 to 80 km / h moving through the region.
