The crews move forward at full speed as the street in West Kelowna town is swept.
Contractors will commence in the Gellatly / Goats Peak neighborhood on Thursday, March 11th, instead of Monday, March 15th, and move to other areas, starting with Pritchard / Green Bay on Friday, March 12th.
In the districts, signs are put up in advance informing residents of street sweeping activities. and the crews ask residents to park off-street between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to ensure thorough street cleaning. Local residents, although we value the pride you have in your neighborhood and your efforts to help clean up, please do not sweep debris on the street as it will slow down the cleaning process.
The following preliminary street cleaning schedule is weather dependent and is subject to change:
• West Bank – in progress
• Gellatly Goat’s Peak – March 11th
• South Boucherie // Pritchard / Green Bay – March 12th
• Lakeview Heights / Casa Loma – March 16
• Butcher – March 19th
• West Kelowna Estates – March 24th
• Rose Valley – March 26th
• Shannon Lake – March 30th
• Smith Creek – April 7th
• Glenrosa – April 13th
• Upper Glenrosa / Bear Creek – late April
• West Kelowna Business Park – to be determined
