Car hits a pole outside the West Kelowna store

The pole managed to prevent the car from going any further and hitting the building

An allegedly elderly driver crashed into a pole on the side of a building in West Kelowna Monday morning.

The incident occurred shortly after 10 a.m. in the Hot Sox Laundry on Ross Road

The mast is said to have prevented the car from continuing and crashing into the building.

According to the emergency services, there was no damage to the actual building, only to the mast, and the driver was not injured.
