Further video surveillance approved for the West Bank Lions Community Center
West Kelowna City Council plans to expand security in the area
More video surveillance is coming to the West Bank.
The City of West Kelowna approved additional surveillance cameras at the West Bank Lions Community Center on Main Street. The move is designed to ensure the safety of people, assets and property in the area.
The center is adjacent to the West Kelowna Shelter Society, which currently operates from the West Bank United Church. The video surveillance will hopefully help the city and the RCMP identify individuals who have committed crimes of vandalism, theft and more.
