Dan Mangan’s spring 2022 tour will roll through Kelowna

Dan Mangan is coming back to the Okanagan.

After his spring 2020 tour was canceled due to COVID-19 and attempts to reschedule fell through as well, the popular British Columbian musician is going back on the road in the spring.

He’s announced an 11-date tour that will start in Ontario and make its way west, finishing with five shows in his home province.

That includes a night at the Kelowna Community Theater on Saturday, March 26.

The Smithers native will be performing plenty of hits from his five studio albums, but there’s a good chance he’ll be focusing on his critically-acclaimed 2009 album Nice, Nice, Very Nice.

Mangan’s 2020 tour was meant to be a 10-year anniversary tour for the album, which features hits like “Robots,” “Road Regrets,” “The Indie Queens Are Waiting” and “Basket.”

This latest tour is called All Together Now 2022, but he’ll likely be anxious to dive into some tunes from that album after he couldn’t two years ago.

Tickets for the show, which will include Georgia Harmer as an opening act, go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 am through MRG Live.
