Registration for the Kelowna Knox Mountain Hill Climn is open

If you think you’re fast, get ready to burn some rubber racing up Knox Mountain.

Registration for the Knox Mountain Hill Climb is now open and most vehicles are eligible to race.

The event lists the various racing categories on its website knoxmtnhillclimb.ca, including classic cars, 4×4s, electric vehicles, under 1800cc cars, GTs, dune buggies and race cars.

John Haftner holds the overall record in his Tui SuperVee, a fast race car that took him to the top of Knox in 1 minute 37.065 seconds.

The fastest street-legal car to ever scale the local mountain is a Honda CRX Si with Sheridan Empey in two minutes and 3.099 seconds.

The 63rd Anniversary of the Leavitt Machinery Knox Mountain Hillclimb will be held on Sat May. 21 and Sun May. February 22, 2022 organized by Knox Mountain Motor Sport.
