Three schools in Kelowna confirmed COVID-19 cases Thursday night.

  • Davidson Road Elementary School
  • Kelowna Secondary School
  • Rutland upper secondary level

Those affected isolate themselves at home with the support of local health teams. Interior Health tracks anyone who may be exposed to a confirmed case directly through contact tracing.

“The safety and well-being of students, families and employees remains our top priority. Central Okanagan Public Schools will continue to implement the strict health and safety protocols and procedures that are in place so that students and staff can continue to attend school as safely as possible, ”said Central Okanagan Public Schools.

Central Okanagan Public Schools will continue to work closely with Interior Health to determine if additional action is required and to support ongoing communications with the affected school community.

As always, people are reminded to stay home from school if they show any symptoms.
