A 23-year-old man was arrested in Kelowna after a bag of alleged crystalline meth was discovered yesterday in a Kelowna hotel lobby.
RCMP were called to the hotel yesterday, February 9th, after a report on illegal drugs was allegedly left in the lobby, according to an RCMP media release.
Police located a suspect who was stopped at a traffic obstruction shortly afterwards. A search of the suspect’s vehicle revealed approximately one kilogram of fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine.
The suspect has been released without charge while the investigation continues. This includes a full analysis of the substances seized by the police.
