Tactical officers storm home
Heavily armed RCMP officers raided a house in Rutland on Thursday afternoon.
The video sent to Castanet shows tactical officers breaking windows and breaking a door to gain entry to a house on Bryden Road shortly after 3 p.m.
Local residents said they heard a loud bang, possibly lightning, as the operation began.
Bryden Road was temporarily closed to traffic while officers were working. A police dog unit was also on site.
“I heard them talk about going into rooms and checking things,” said a neighbor, who saw no arrest.
Castanet News has requested information from the RCMP.
