Tomorrow night, three friends and business owners are hosting dinner for Kelowna’s Gospel Mission at 251 Leon Avenue.

Food will be delivered at 4 p.m. and will be served to people in the shelter as well as people who live in the parking lot outside at 551 Recreation Avenue.

Our residents and people who live without a home are currently facing major problems – being cut off from many services. It’s hard to stay home when you don’t have a home, ”said Randy Benson, executive director of Kelowna’s Gospel Mission.</p> <p>“We’re so grateful that this group of friends, including a top-notch Kelowna restaurant, is bringing delicious food to people who are at the lowest point in their lives.”</p> <p>Gary Judge, owner of REALAND Realty, Karam Kler, director of his construction company Forever Destiny Homes, and Gurvinder Momi, owner of restaurants, Dawett, Da Tandoor and Chutney Indian Cuisine, are the people behind supporting the community.</p> <p>“We are all going through tough times during the COVID 19 pandemic,” the judge said. “Our church has supported us in good times. We want to help our church, our co-workers, and give something back to them and support them as best we can in these difficult and uncertain times.”</p> <p>“Together we are strong and we will get through these difficult times,” he added. “We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the frontline staff and the Essential Service staff who have worked continuously and tirelessly to ensure that all essential services are available to us.
