The organizer of an anti-mask protest in Kelowna was fined again for violating the provincial public health ordinance.

According to the Kelowna RCMP, numerous residents gathered downtown on Saturday to protest measures related to COVID-19. Officers were present to ensure the safety of the demonstrators and the general public.

Her name is currently not being published, although it is the third ticket issued to this person. </p> <p>For those who do not know, Canadians have the right to lawful and peaceful protest. Affected people can only be fined if activities violate the law. </p> <p>“We reaffirm to the public that the province’s public health ordinances are not voluntary. For those who obeyed the law, thank you; now is not the time to give up,” said Supt. Kara Triance. “Vaccinations are used in our province. Please dig deep and find the courage to stay safe and calm.” </p> <p>“We will continue to respond to and enforce the regulations at our disposal and work with our partners in BC health officials and the BC prosecutor to ensure compliance with provincial health directives.”</p> <p></p> <p style=
