Meghan O’Mara is an inspiring businesswoman with 10 years of business experience.
Being recognized as the first woman to specialize in commercial real estate in the Okanagan was a defining moment in the industry for her.
The vice president of sales and leasing at HM Commercial has an entrepreneurial background and 10 years of business experience. He said you can’t grow without forcing yourself.
“I’m also looking forward to having a platform to inspire other women with my story and how I managed to find a place in a male-dominated industry,” she said.

“I truly love what I do for so many reasons, and being part of creating this amazing community has become a mission that is close to my heart.”
Commercial real estate is associated with responsibility and pressure to perform, she said. “Sometimes this pressure comes on me, but I do my best to use it as fuel.”
Your greatest achievement would be to rent out 100 percent of the innovation center.
“This project changed not only the tech industry, but also downtown Kelowna. Having a small hand in this success is and will remain a career highlight,” said O’Mara.
