A commercial property in Kelowna was badly damaged by fire early Thursday morning.

“They sustained about $ 100,000 and $ 150,000 of damage inside the building,” train captain Kelly Stephens told Global News.

The fire department was called at 3:15 a.m. at 683 Dease Road in the Rutland metropolitan area

The address of the flame belongs to Kettle Valley Molding and Millwork.

“Firefighters found heavy flames and smoke in the building upon arrival,” said Stephens. “They made it a third alarm call, so there was a lot of equipment up there … we had four halls responding to that place.”

The answer included four engines, a commando and 20 firefighters.

It seems that the fire was accidental.

“It seems likely to be electrical at this point,” said Stephens.
